BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

PART TIME

 About the Role:

As the Business Development Manager for Kerning Cultures Network, you’ll be responsible for exploring revenue opportunities for KC, through partnerships, branded content, grants, licensing, and distribution. You’ll be initiating conversations with prospective clients and pitching business opportunities to brands. You’ll pursue potential business leads, as well as present podcast ideas to clients and agencies in-person. You’ll be working directly with the CEO and Brand Marketing Director to write and present pitches, and strategize branded content opportunities and new business together. You’ll stay on top of and translate industry trends to sell a vision for a new media industry. You’ll also manage ad sales and licensing opportunities and facilitate conversations with prospective advertisers and distributors. Occasionally, you’ll work on grant opportunities as well.


Location: This position is based in Dubai.


Skills & Experience:

-Strong presentation skills, comfortable pitching and selling to C-Suite level clients
-Comfortable with data analysis and business strategy
-Comfortable with client-facing interactions and communications
-Experienced in developing and delivering strategy presentations
-Exemplary written and oral communication skills
-Open to travel as needed
-Self-starter, experienced in finding prospective business opportunities for brands
-Comfortable working with a remote team and implementing feedback/direction


Bonus Skills:

-Agency or Media Experience preferred
-Strong knowledge and understanding of podcast media as well as podcast advertising and licensing/distribution globally and within MENA
-Familiar with conducting business in Dubai
-Comfortable working in Google Docs and Excel
