The month of Ramadan (where Muslims fast) begins end of May. As a Kerning Cultures special, experience a Ramadan evening over soul-nourishing discussion and a delicious catered dinner. The tradition of Ramadan is to gather over late night discussions and debate. For this Kerning Cultures listening party, we'll debut a new episode entitled "Not Just My Hijab". These stories are not religious preachings, rather, rare openings into two women's hearts and their complex relationships with their hijab.
Listening party tickets: $25 includes full course dinner catered by the Mediterranean restaurant Jasmine Kitchen.
Limited seating available and we need to place the catering order in advance - please purchase your tickets online here, as no tickets will be sold at the door. Exact location in Kirkland to be emailed to you upon purchase.
We'll start the evening around 8:00pm, and dinner will be served at iftar (break fast) time at 9:00pm.
