Hebah is a serial entrepreneur and journalist. She built micro-finance and incubation programs for small businesses in the GCC and the States. She is currently based between Dubai and Seattle.
Alex graduated from Falmouth University in the UK in 2014 and worked as a photojournalist in the UAE and UK for four years after that, shooting for people like the The New York Times, The Guardian and Monocle. In 2016, he started experimenting with audio storytelling, and joined Kerning Cultures in 2018.

Shahd is highly skilled in news editing, creative writing, documentary making, story treatment and translation. She’s passionate about producing international podcasts and always seeking a human story to tell from around the world.
Bella comes from a creative marketing background, working on ad campaigns for brands like Pepsi, American Express, and Charity: Water. She is currently based in New York, also pursuing her MA in Gender Studies at The New School, with a focus on Egyptian American culture.

Nasri is a British-Lebanese writer, documentary host, producer & media entrepreneur. The past 10 years of his career have been spent working with brands & media companies from the Arab world, across journalism, music, film, digital, art, and now podcasting. His writing has appeared in GQ, The Guardian, Little White Lies, Monocle & he is a regular guest on the BBC Arts Hour.
Nadeen is a journalist, editor, and storyteller, and a native of Cairo, Egypt. Nadeen pursued her M.A. in both the Journalism and Middle East Studies programs at New York University and has worked in publishing, podcasting, and documentary filmmaking. She is passionate about anything Middle Eastern and writes on whatever sparks her interest.
Tamara is based in Beirut. She has a print journalism and international relations background with a focus on the Middle East and North Africa region. Previously, she worked with a non-profit on gender equity in the media, where she led reporting fellowships to parts of east and central Africa, and has published with The Daily Star and Executive Magazine.
Zeina has recently completed an MPhil in Development Studies at the University of Cambridge. She’s especially interested in decolonial and gender theory, and the intersections between them. She’s currently based in London, where she spends her free time going to gigs, visiting galleries, and trying to train her new puppy.
